ABOUT THE MUSIC:

A unique eleven-song mix of country-flavored sound awaits you.

Featuring the upbeat, unforgettable “RIVER of TEARS”, Cajun style courtesy of Danny Parks’ lead guitar and Randy Howard’s fiddle; you’ll be singing along!

"RIVER of TEARS" was heard in Christopher Coppola’s indie film, “CURSE of BLOODHEAD”.

“TAKE GOOD CARE of MY HEART”, Texas swing at its finest, features delectable backup vocals by Judy Rodman, and John Hughey’s pedal steel will delight your ears.

“THE DROUGHT” will take you back to Texas Dustbowl days; you''ll almost smell the approaching storm and feel cracked, dry farmland underfoot.

The title cut, "MAMA LOOK", is sure to bring a tear, so be prepared with a hankie!

“ONCE a YEAR” was inspired by the mother of an old flame. For many years, Martha received a nice note and card from a wonderful woman who’d hoped to see Martha stay close to the Rocky Mountains. Velvet voiced Juli Maners sings background vocals on this Christmas flavored delight!

"I CAN''T TRUST MYSELF" should be on every jukebox in every bar or club! Bring your dance partner for this sweetly hopeful, vulnerable tale of a broken hearted lady who hasn''t given up on love.

Five more songs round out this noteworthy collection.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Martha came from Texas with a couple of CDs and an attitude; she was leaving Texas law enforcement for her big chance at STARDOM in Nashville. Her time as a Crime Prevention supervisor had given the Singing Sergeant major press exposure; Johnny Stone was featuring her original songs on his KYNG Radio Show, her songs were heard on WBAP and she was having a lot of fun doing mini shows for Neighborhood Block Parties.

Marjory Taylor, vocal instructor at Hollywood, Ca. “HOUSE OF VOICE”, coached DeWolfe. Taylor later predicted fame and a long career ahead for Martha!

Moving to Nashville just seemed to be the logical next step...

DeWolfe honed her writing, joining Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), and attending Song Camps where hit writers instructed her and other eager students in the finer nuances of writing appealing songs. At such an event she met co-writer Stuart Watson, and the songs for "Mama Look" began to take shape.

From Nashville, Martha jumped on the chance to move to the coastal Bay Area of California and tour with a band founded for her by Watson.

DeWolfe''s first CDBABY release, "The Wildcat Canyon Band" TEAL BLUE TRUCK features a lead sung by each of the five players in the Wildcat Canyon Band.
