D''vora has won awards in many song-writing competitions, including the William E. Oliver contest (songs which best express the forward spirit of our times), the Woody Guthrie Festival of Songs (Talking Hayfever Blues, track 6), the Julian Bluegrass Festival (Julian Mountain High, track 4).
