BIO
Eric is a Country boy who spends as much time outdoors as possible. If he is not performing you can find him camping or riding horses or four wheelers in the mountains or at the family ranch. He is a very avid out doors man and hiker. It doesn''t matter what time of year it is you will still find him sleeping out by a campfire even in the dead of winter.
Eric’s story is very different than most other singers. It all started singing Karaoke on a cruise ship on September 11th 2001. One of Eric’ greatest fears of all time was to sing in front of people. After this country was attacked by terrorists, and Eric was stuck outside the US borders in Mexico on a cruise ship, he decided it was time to stop letting those fears control him anymore. He sang Garth Brook’s song “The Dance”. He was approached by a woman who told him that she loved that song and he should pursue a career in singing. Eric started to taking Vocal lessons a few months later and look what has happened ever since.
He was invited to have a lesson with Seth Riggs, vocal coach to the Stars in Hollywood, California. Seth sent him to Jeffrey Skouson in Las Vegas, Nevada where he continued his professional training. He started performing in 2003 and has exceeded any expectation ever imagined. He has performed hundreds of shows all over the USA and even in Canada. Eric was the Southern Utah winner of the Colgate Country Showdown in 2004. He has shared the stage with many of Nashville’s best including the late Chris Ledoux, and others such as Diamond Rio, Little Texas, Collin Raye, and Shedaisy. He has also met and worked with many other fine artists along the way. He recorded his Nashville debut Album at OmniSound Studios in Nashville and worked with the best producers, songwriters and musicians possible. Eric has been featured in America’s largest Country Music magazine “Country Weekly and also been featured on the web-site Music News Nashville. He released his first radio single in March of 2006, where “Anything For You” hit #19 on the New Music Weekly Independent artist charts. It received over 4000 plays nation wide.
Eric has performed at live tv appearances including Good Things Utah on ABC channel 4, where he had the incredible opportunity of meeting FlyLady. She is an excellent author and has a very popular web-site https://www.tradebit.com where she helps people control the clutter in their lives. She asked Eric to record a song for her FLY album that was released in 2006 and will be sold all over the world. Since Eric met FlyLady they have become friends and Eric has had the opportunity to perform “Why Not Today”, from FlyLady’s CD at some of her events nation wide.
