Details:
Music, singing, and dancing have been at the core of my upbringing. I grew up in the town of Yardley in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I am blessed to have grown up with three brothers and three sisters. My Dad is a Professional Musician and a graduate of The Julliard School in NYC. Both my Dad and Mom have instilled a love of music in all of us.
I am a mother of two young boys. My inspiration for writing childrens'' songs are my 2 darling boys: Conor who is 3 and Ryan 8 months. For the past 11 years I have been a Special Education Teacher for students in the 8th, 5th and 4th grades.
I began singing in public during my college years. I am a vocally trained singer. I have been singing in weddings and other ceremonial occasions for the past 10 years.
Education: I have a Bachelor''s Degree from Bloomsburg University in Special Education. I have a Master''s Degree in Instructional Technology from St. Joseph''s University.
I now play guitar, sing, and write my own music for children and parents. As a parent myself, I feel parents need more support in their job as the champions in our children’s eyes. I want to combine my two passions, which is music, and teaching children to feel empowered with their many talents as showcased in my song Proud of You. I also want to support the individuals who raise these children - parents. As a parent, it’s a comforting feeling knowing that we are not alone with the daily challenges and triumphs we face in raising our youth.
I love entertaining children through music, games and story telling. I value and embrace all personalities and abilities of all children.
