Roy and Pat are invited to Dales Ranch to look it over. While riding they hear a lady scream and ride over to investigate. There they find Two men beating up a Rancher. They protect the Rancher and chase off the men. The Rancher tells them that he purchased Hard Luck Insurance for $1000 for $2000 dollars of insurance for life. When they tried to make a claim for the 400 head of cattle that were russled, he was beaten up.
