The Album:
At 39 I decided to write, record and perform my own original music. The debut album STANDPOINT was the result. Playing with such incredible talent was an honour, my band is a group of individuals that have contributed to the likes of Bad Company, Pink Floyd, Boston, Von Groove, Bruce Cockburn, Rain, Honeymoon Suite, Big Sugar, Tina Turner, Axel Rose and the list goes on. And now they have brought my songs to life. Special thanks to Leighton Matthews, who''s guitar solos are masterful.
One of my goals was to perform live in a Theatre, I achieved that on April 6th 2001, a portion of the proceeds was donated to the cure for Cancer and Alzheimers. Thank you to my band who after having peformed in stadiums all over the world came to the Oakville Performing Arts Centre for a night I will never forget. The paper said "Benefit Concert a Must See", I just say thank you or letting me sing my songs. I hope you enjoy the album, its been in the box too long.
The album is a result f my decision to do something I have always wanted to do, but never thought I could. If you can relate to this, my advice is to do it before its too late. If people deter you, tell them this: "For those who say it cannot be done, please don''t interruptthose of us already doing it" Quote from the Lysander restoration team at the Hamilton War Museum.
