Goddess Posse was written as processional music for my wife at our wedding. High recorders with a Renaissance sound and a middle Eastern beat.
Krumhorn dance features lots of krumhorn and trombones over a funky doumbek and percussion beat.
Zen Dream has a bass recorder pretending to be a shakuhachi, very breathy upper range.
Serenade features a bass recorder duet with trombones and a laid back island feel.
Kalypso again features krumhorn and steel drum backing.
Desert Dance is built around the Russian Zenkov rhythm in 21/8, and the Middle Eastern mode Hijaz. Very challanging to dance or play along to!
