This little gem features the side-man, lending a helping-hand talents of Jamie Hoover from the Spongetones along with Patrick Walters who spearheads GBU. Walters played in 70`s band Jeremiah with Dave Spinoza and Wings-member Denny Seiwell. This is an unusual collection of tunes in that 7 of these recorded in the early 90`s(all featuring Hoover) and 2 from 1969, 3 from 1972. The sound is a rally unusual, but very good mix of influences that ran a long dodge-ball line of Procul Harum, Traffic and John Mayall to lots of Cream and, yes, a bit Hoover-esque Spongtone-y influence as well. I`m a sucker for period pieces like this and this is a very good one and these songs are rightfully resurrected for fans of this style of music. Like me.
