Details:
Adam Currie is a singer songwriter from Fairfield CT. At a young age Adam was introduced to the music of legendary bands such as the Beatles, The Rolling stones, Bruce Springsteen and many others which greatly influenced his choice in becoming a musician. Self taught Adam played guitar learning his favorite records and soon began to write his own music and lyrics. He then went on to study music theory with Charlie Lagond at Lagond music school in New York. His first cd self titled Adam Currie was recorded in 2004 at the carriage house studios in stamford CT. The song Think Of You off the first cd was in the top 5 most requested songs for 10 weeks in a row in Costa Rica. Adam then met a very successfull musician/producer by the name of Seth Glassmen. Glassmen impressed with Adam''s style of writing and performance became the producer for his follow up cd titled the weight. The Adam Currie band has since played at such venues as the Ridgefield playhouse, The Faifield Theatre, The Oyster Fest, and many others including fund raisers and charities for Bob Kenedy JR, John Macenroe, and Adam Baldwin. Adam is now working with two up and coming producers from New Jersey working on tracks for his newest album. The Matriarch agency led by Janet Williams is also now helping to manage the project and bringing it to the next level. Adam''s sound is like a mixture of the Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Dave Mathews all rolled into one.
