Details:
Born in Peterborough New Hampshire in 1979. Sang and played saxophone as a kid. Picked up the guitar after high school, and wrote a lot of bad songs. Eventually got a little better. Released an acoustic album in 2005, Pomegranate, very raw, one-take recordings at a small studio in Freeport, Maine. Wanted to do something different, and recorded The Working Poor Blues over the course of 2008 with Pete Morse, Stefen Samuels, and Tom Snow at Busted Barn Studios, in Portland and Windham, Maine, and had a lot of fun doing it. Drums, bass, guitars, peddle steel, piano, etc. The songs sound full.
Songs are gradually becoming more focused, lyrically and structurally, in an effort to make a tight song that sounds great and means something. Working on new songs as we speak.
