Details:
One of eight children who was born to a preacher with an extraordinary ability for writing Christian music, she started singing with her older siblings as soon as she could stand alone on stage. While singing Christian music with her family, which was her first love, she developed a passion & love for country music, and as a firm believer in the fact that God has given each of us the gift of a specific ability to become the true person that we were created to be, she knew early in life that her gift was to write and sing Christian & country music, once in her teens she started to tap into this gift and wrote several Christian & country songs, but continued to sing Christian music while traveling with her father.
After completing a trip around the world performing for crowds of twenty thousand or more, in countries like, The Philippines, Africa, India, & many others, she met her husband and moved to an Island in the Bahamas and took a break for a few years, In 1995 she moved back to Georgia and started to focus on her music again, She and two of her siblings had been in the studio recording a Christian CD, as a tribute to their father, and his songs, when he became ill, and though she is thankful he got to hear the final cuts, he passed away before it was finished and so the CD was not released until 1997.
After the death of her father she found it hard to find the inspiration to write or sing, but soon realized that the gift that God had given her could keep her father alive through her. And quickly learned that it was the healing tool that she needed all along.
Now she is back and more inspired and passionate than ever, With the up coming release of her first Country CD, she knows that this is only the beginning and that the best is still to come, With God & her father as her co-writers, She continues to write both Christian and Country and will quickly become "Somebody you''re gonna Love"
