Lounge Piranha is a four member post rock band from Bangalore, India. With more than a hundred shows across the nation in the last three years, and the Indian TFA Award for 2007 under their belt, Piranha''s cult following in their city is now growing into a well-spread community of fans and regular online listeners around the country. The band is known for their unique brand of sounds and visuals: ambient soundscapes combine with guitar distortion on top of a tight rhythm section of drums and bass.
