Heartsong Review
These sweet, easy listening melodies bring the listener to a world of inner harmony. There is a special blend of synth flute, strings, keyboards, and horn in each song, sometimes with angelic choir. This music has an overall Adult Contemporary style that touches the listener delicately in the heart.
Mostly short cuts under four minutes, each song has its own blend of rhythms, either slow or upbeat. The variety of beats and styles holds interest, from laid back jazz to romantic lullabies.
LIGHT & SOUND has a gentle beat that opens the heart to the world’s beauty. JESSICA ROSE brings romantic vibraphone keyboards, a lazy melody. THANK HU is a pun on the sacred word HU, with an easy rhythm on snare drum underlying a couple of harmonies with jazzy bounce. ANGELS eases the listener up to the dimensions of blissful angelic beings. PRECIOUS GIFT starts with a light, almost African drum rhythm, and builds layers of synth strings, flute, keyboards into a mellow ramble.
This music is wonderful for movement, driving and resting. It will lift your spirit up from a rut at anytime.

New Age Music News & Reviews
A mesmerizingly gorgeous package (cries out for a poster version) contains sixty minutes of “music for all life everywhere” in arrangements of softly undulating flutes, strings, guitar, piano and horn. Softly tropical first tract leads on effortlessly into a tranquil inner space that stays fresh even after repeated listening. It’s hard to imagine a better sound scape for in-store play; the artwork alone, by Thomas Canny, should have copies flying out the front door. Some instrumentals are fairly short, but to their credit, the Johnson’s stick with their original inspirations, rather than letting the repetitive demands of commercial airplay dictate each songs final form; many of the shorter pieces are so lovely that I’m glad they’re mot diluted.

“This music is ethereal with a touch of light jazz and is reminiscent of a quiet walk through a lush forest.”
