This first volume of soundtrack works by Philadelphia-based composer and songwriter Scott Radway (Now Soon Nowhere, tUB rING, Divided Sky) takes you for a ride through 4 different scenes, scored between 2007 and 2009. Spread over 18 tracks and clocking in at over 69 minutes, Soundtracks, Vol. I includes a silent-movie styled classical approach, an ''action classical'' set of movements, and more stylistically-divergent pieces that also incorporate elements of electronic music, ambience, and noise. It''s at times beautiful, haunting, and comical.
"The Institute Of Séance" - short silent horror film, classical score
"Postcards" - dance performance, mixture of styles including ambient, herky-jerky chamber pop, and elements of Elfman/Burton movie scores
"High Ground" - dance performance, electronic tribal rock
"Sorrow Stead" - videogame (unreleased), classical mystique and bombast
All music written, arranged, and recorded by Scott Radway.
