Details:
Will Lawton is a singer/songwriter who has been performing since 1999. In Clemson, South Carolina, Will was a regular at Tiger Town Tavern, The Esso Club, and The Coffee House and Wine Bar. In Greenville, South Carolina, Will was the standard musician at Kincaid''s Tavern for a year, and he also jammed occasionally at Blue Ridge Brewery. After a few gigs, Will convinced Brad Rochford to sit in on bongos and sing backup. Brad and Will''s two man show was a favorite around Clemson and they enjoyed playing beer drinking songs in bars and at Fraternity Events. Eventually, the duo found a few more hellions and formed a band.

Lost on Tuesday (Will Lawton, Patrick Horne, Thomas Polon, Brad Rochford, and Brian Gamble) was formed on July 4, 2000. Will invited Patrick and Thomas over to a cook out, and they both brought their instruments. The threesome learned two whole songs, and the idea of a band was formed. At some point Patrick mentioned that his then roommate, Brian, played bass. Will gave Brian a demo, and Brian joined. Meanwhile, Brad, Will''s bongo player for his two-man show and roommate, was working for 40 dollars a week in Mexico. When school at Clemson University started, Brad came back and the band had their first full practice. They proceeded to practice from September to February. They played a couple open mic nights and had the pleasure of opening up for both Almost Steve and Snap Robinson as well as headlining a few gigs of their own. Although Lost only lasted a short time, the members made lifelong memories and broke up on good terms.

For the year of 2002 Will spent most of his time redefining his acoustic show. He learned new and more diverse music and practiced at "The Playground" in Augusta during Thursday Open Mic Nights. He developed the goals of playing more dynamic solos and improving his voice range. Will played Moose Mountain Coffee House in Charleston the summer of 2003, 2004, and 2005. He enjoyed the beautiful rooftop deck of 11 Center Street the Summer of 2004 and wonderful company of East Bay Coffee Shop.

Now, Will has recorded the first of his next two albums, "Lava Lamp (acoustic)" with "Lava Lamp" soon to be released. Will is excited about performing again and hope to play both the intimate coffee house settings as well as the rowdy bars again. About his musical career Will says:

"In the past few years I''ve realized that performing is not just a past time for me, it is my passion. Whether in an eclectic funk rock band, or in grass-roots two man show, or as heartfelt solo artist, I will always be somewhere playing and singing."
