Details:
Glasspool was formed back in 2005 by Brian Olsen and J. Alan. Both were synthpop songwriters with many demo songs to their names, and were influenced by the likes of Depeche Mode, Erasure, Camouflage, OMD, and De/Vision. They spent almost 2 years writing, programming, and fine-tuning each others contributions, ending up with a total of 15 songs. Next, enter producer/programmer Beau Baker, who stepped in at Glasspool''s request to take their production up a notch. From July to November 2007 they were able to work together on several songs which resulted in the Unconventional EP. In February 2008 the songs were mastered by Kristian Kroll of the Danish synthpop band Fake The Envy, shortly after J. left the band. The Unconventional EP was finally released in June 2008. Brian is keeping the Glasspool name going, and is planning to hit the studio in summer 2009 with some new tracks.
