AD Africanism is a fusion of Hip Hop and Drum bass beats with raw African music samples. Samples used are from the more gritty African music of the 1970s era. The sources originate from all over Africa and take the listener on a trip through the various forms of African Music from the continent spanning from Dakar all the way to Mogadishu and down to Johannesburg. ‘Africanism’ is a term used to summarize this: Hip hop drumbeats and heavy African samples.
