This is the debut release from Denver’s Catfish Kray Blues Band.
The CD features 21st Century electric blues with a groove. Our dynamic lady vocalist, Jesse Garland, cousin of Judy Garland, lays down the vocals on most cuts. Catfish Kray does the funky, electric, guitar work. Greg Sage and Joe Lilly on horns give the CD a big-band sound. Ari Rubinstein, drums, and Rich Kimball, bass, make the groove.
Nine original songs of 12 on the CD speak of the Mississippi Delta, juke joints, love-gone bad, and hard times and bring you out of the blues and up on your feet dancing.
