About me you ask? I am a southern girl originally from Germantown, TN, right outside of Memphis. I have been a singer my whole life, but not a recording artist until just recently. I started out in a 2nd grade talent show singing Mariah Carey''s version of "Open Arms." It was wildly successful and received rave reviews. The rest is history. I have been pursuing my dream ever since, and I will continue to do so until the day I die. My voice was not necessarily created to speak, it was created to sing. That is precisely what I have set out to do.
I moved to New York City to study musical theatre, and I will continue to pursue that as well. I have been in a number of musicals and also have a few coming up in which I will be performing. I just love entertaining. Whatever allows me to sing is what I would like to do.
My music is the perfect combination of pop and country and a little in between. I am an independent artist with a vision and a ton of hope! I haven''t given up yet, and I never will. I hope you enjoy this CD, because it has been quite the labor of love. It is my debut album and will most certainly not be the last. I can only hope that when you listen, it allows you to let go of the worry, if even for a second. I don''t know exactly how or where at this particular moment, but I am in fact, Heading Somewhere...
