The Ideal Cynics are a rock band originally from Commerce, Texas. The band made huge strides in 1994 with its release of the cd "Malachai". Powered by its large following from the college Texas A&M-Commerce, the band exploded onto the burgeoning Dallas scene. Performing on the same bill with such acts as The Nixons, The Toadies, Fastball, Bowling For Soup, Deep Blue Something, Tabula Rasa, Michael Nesmith of The Monkees, Radish and Sister Seven. All of this happened while the band was going through many different changes. These changes are chronicled musically in the bands newest cd "Hard Lesson". This new cd has already recieved rave reviews and support from fans new and old. The Ideal Cynics are definetly back and stronger than ever with this new release.
