Major Flinch has been playing music together since the summer of 2008. Mitchell, Will, Jordan, and Tyson all shared a common love for music right from the beginning. The four instantly clicked, and have been creating their very unique music since. That unique style can most easily be described as a mix of: The Fray, Death Cab For Cutie, Mute Math, and the much loved band of all the members: The Left. After several months of playing together the group put together a six song EP entitled "We''re Not Aliens" with the help of recording mastermind and mentor of the band Scott Neufeld. All the members constantly immerse there selves in tons of different music to broaden their musical horizons and to create the most original sounding music they can. The newest direction of the group is the ''indie math-rock'' genre which forces all the members to stretch their creative side while including a very technical edge; making melodies and rhythms they never imagined.
