We are Matt and Joanie Oakes and we make up the band Trees Of Lyres. We are glad you stopped by and would like to tell you a bit about our new album entitled Strangers. Strangers is a collection of thirteen songs that combine our love of indie, electronic, and roots music. We recorded these songs to tell the stories we’ve found ourselves a part of over the last year. We wrote some of these songs to give ourselves something to get us through these stories, and we wrote some of these songs to celebrate the stories we’ve found ourselves in.
