Vice is a 5 piece rock band with members hailing from California, New York, and Washington State. Founded at Stanford University in the fall of 2006 and now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Vice consists of Brodie Jenkins, Grahame Lesh, Jesse Engreitz, Mac Parish, and Eric Saar. Vice strives to present a new naughty kind of music, blending three cups rock n roll, a sprinkling of blues, a splash of jazz, and a generous dusting of soul into a spicy mixture of hard and soft sounds. With frontlady Brodie''s sultry voice floating atop an uncompromising explosion of instrumental bliss, Vice seeks to take you places you’ve never been before. We promise.
Though Vice was formed relatively recently, the individual members have been involved in music for years. Brodie Jenkins was the lead singer for the major label country trio The Jenkins before entering college, while keyboardist Jesse Engreitz and lead guitar player Grahame Lesh were in a short-lived pop/rock band called Crystal City that opened in the Summer of 2006 for Phil Lesh & Friends and Trey Anastasio. Meanwhile, Vice''s illustrious rhythm section of Eric Saar and Mac Parish had honed their chops over the years by playing in jazz combos and various other musical groups.
With the release of their debut album Tied & Bound, Vice is looking to expose as many people as possible to their unique brand of rock ''n'' roll. We hope you enjoy the ride!
