Born in eastern North Carolina and living most of my life in east Tennessee before moving to Nashville, I have strong southern roots. I lived in Ukraine for over a year, and visited much of eastern Europe. I have also lived in Kentucky and South Carolina, and I''ve worked in Michigan and California. I''ve been influenced by many different styles of music and I write what I feel like writing, not necessarily what I think might be popular. I write from the depths of my soul, and even when a story isn''t my own, I put myself in that frame of mind and imagine what it must be like to experience what I sing. I hope you enjoy my musings.
