Details:
Jaya Ben Patel

Factory Person, Petrol Pump Attendant,
Fire-Extinguisher Sales Person, Office Worker, Student, Barrister (Trial Lawyer), Artist – Singer.

Known to her friends as Jaya, born in India, went to England aged 4 years, schooled in the Midlands. Went to George Eliot High School. Later went to college and failed all her exams (the binge drinking didn’t help).

Started work in shoe factory as a progress chaser, worked as petrol pump attendant at weekends to supplement income to support drinking and clubbing habit, later moved up country worked in office then back down to Midlands worked in another office, went off from Birmingham to a job in Amsterdam, got fired as she was rubbish at the job, came to London (the scenic route from Birmingham to London via Amsterdam) worked in more offices went to study then became a Barrister (Trial Lawyer)in the London courts; left that because she had too much work, working late seven days a week and didn’t have a life; then went on to do independent research stuff that also eventually took up seven days a week; became singer; still doesn’t have a life. Sometimes things just work out that way. Lives in East London. That’s about it.

Oh! Got kicked/booted in the face out of a plane because she wouldn’t jump (went parachuting and changed her mind at the last minute, last second actually); ended up dangling unceremoniously from a tree until she got rescued, but it was a comfortable landing/dangling in a tree among the branches over a large pond.
Half dangling out of the plane “I had tried telling (shouting) him, look, mine’s not the sort of face you kick, you know” too late it didn’t work, I grabbed his ankle but he kicked harder and shook me off, my head flipped back and I was going head first downward like a bullet” found myself in a Zen Zone until the parachute opened. Thanks Keith I love you too.
