“I’m That Way” is a new release by Beth McKee, acclaimed blues artist of the New Orleans, Austin, and Jackson music scenes. Beth has performed with legendary artists Buckwheat Zydeco, Ron Wood, Ian McLagan, the Subdudes, Jimmy Buffett, Marcia Ball, and many more in renowned venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Antones in Austin, Tipitina’s and the infamous Ray Ban stage at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. As a member of the band Evangeline, she signed with MCA records and wrote, played and sang on national releases that received critical acclaim and commercial success.
“I’m That Way” is a collection of songs written by Louisiana songsmith Bobby Charles, best known for his songs "Walking To New Orleans," "But I Do" and "See You Later Alligator." Beth has always been a big fan of Bobby''s singing and writing and this album is a tribute to his craft.
