As a singer, performer, and guitar player, Machura’s original blend of folk, blues, rock, and country-based roots-music with his band, The Marv Machura Band, has a reputation for high-energy, guitar-driven live performances.
Following the musical tradition of contemporary folk-roots artists like Fred Eaglesmith, Steve Earle, Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson, and John Denver, Machura''s music and live act have a wide demographic appeal. Audiences are draw to Machura’s unassuming manner and charm and won over by his clear, expressive vocals and dynamic guitar playing on a range of original and cover tunes.
