Details:
The Hope Child Project is made up of Mark 4man on Keys, Mike Wright on Guitar/Bass, Bobby Thompson on Drums and on this album special guests Mark Hiiva on Nylon Guitar and Gordon Everson on Bass (Tracks 3, 10). 2 Time AriZoni Award Winning Music Director Mark 4man was classically trained under the Suzuki Method at the ripe old age of 4 1/2! He went on from there to teach himself Pop/Rock/Jazz through Elementary School and High School were he would go on to study Jazz in College! Mark and Mike met in Junior High and would shortly after that be in the same band together throughout High School! From there through various projects would meet up in 2002 and Co-Write “Blew It Out Nasty” and “Mantra.” After returning from a trip to Vegas they went into Arrowhead Studios to begin The Hope Child Project Sessions! For Drums, a long time friend of Mark 4man, Bobby Thompson was brought on board. Mark and Bobby went to the same high school a couple of years apart from each other but through random acts of awesomeness Mark and Bobby would play together in Competitive Choir Pit Bands and later in an originals/cover band. After laying down the tracks for “Farewell to Bliss” and “Mantra” the core of The HCP did what they do best and proceeded to roll tape improv jam style for about 40ish minutes, which is unedited from Tracks 4-9! Mark Hiiva, a music mentor to both Mark and Mike, did an amazing job of laying down incredible Nylon Guitar work on “Blew It Out Nasty” and the epic “Farewell To Bliss.” No mistaking it...Hiiva is a Genius! Gordon Everson is a solid bassist and has been all of his life, a band mate to Mark Hiiva (JDB), Gordon laid down exactly what the project needed on “Blew It Out Nasty” and “Farewell To Bliss.” So please enjoy this Fusion Of Thought Out Chord Progressions And Improv Jamming While Pleasing The Ear With Everything From Smooth Jazz to Future Rock With Expressive Epic Melodies.
