Ellise and Thomas have been performing together since 10/07, playing mostly at coffee shops, restaurants, and at community festivals in Long Grove, IL.
Ellise has a voice that allows her to sing the songs of the greats, such as Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, and others. Her covers of songs by these artists is absolutely stellar.
Thomas, a life long musician, is a true journeyman, with a long history of playing guitar, bass, mandolin, and drums, as well as vocals. he is a songwriter, recording engineer, and music producer, working from his home studio.
Together, Ellise and Thomas have a sound that is very traditional, and they cover a lot of ground as a duo. The CD, JAZZY BLUES/BLUESY JAZZ, is very close to the live sound of the duo.
Ellise and Thomas can be seen live every Saturday afternoon at Beans and Leaves Coffee and Tea, 320 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, IL from 3 to 5 pm.
