Garrett Body realized he had a gift from God at the age of nine. He along with his cousins started playing the guitar for the New Revelation C.O.G.I.C. church choir. Garrett played the bass, almost by force because his cousins chose the lead guitar. Ten years later, Garrett developed and perfected his craft and love for music. In the studio, on stage or just simply in worship on a Sunday morning, Garrett continues his life long conversation with the Lord through his music.
One on Garrett''s consistent prayers was for God to allow him to create a unique and inspiring style of music. Today, we can say God has answered that prayer. His sound is his own, as he says his music is a conversation,with every instrument speaking the same language. Garrett''s humble spirit and faith in God has allowed him to become one of the best in the business. He is an accomplished songwriter, musician and artist, and definitely one to watch!
Garrett''s music has inspired many and has allowed him the honor of sharing the stage with such notable National Recording artists such as Dewayne Woods, Jennifer Hudson, Kevin Vasser, Marvin Sapp, New Direction, Chicago Mass, Heather Headley, Malcolm Williams & Great Faith any many others.
