Details:
Kevin Carlson is a Woodstock, Georgia-based singer/songwriter who has been playing and writing music for over 2 decades. His music can be described as folk-rock and folk-pop. He writes about experiences that have left an impression on him, and songs about life experiences we have all faced.

Since the mid-70''s, he has primarily played 12-string acoustic and has written the vast majority of his material on that instrument. He also plays piano, bass, mandolin along with a few other instruments and usually can be heard playing most of the parts on his recordings.

A native of Georgia, Kevin grew up in Denver where he was first exposed to his early influences of Dan Fogelberg, Joni Mitchell and Kenny Loggins. After leaving Denver for the Atlanta area in 1981, Kevin played in numerous rock bands but returned to his roots in acoustic folk-rock music. After taking a break from music to focus on another career, Kevin actively returned to recording in 2005 and performing in 2007. His recent songs have charted in the Top 25 on several internet charts and have received great reviews from local music writers.

Kevin performs occasionally in the Atlanta area and is back in the studio recording songs for his second CD due out in early 2010.
