Supersmiler are a London five piece kick arse band on a serious mission to get their music to the masses.
With a one armed guitarist, a sexually ambiguous looking female
vocalist and three cool guys who all have a great sense of humor
and a "lets not take ourselves too seriously" attitude.
It’s all about the music in this band. Stacks of GREAT songs that
are refreshingly not the same old same old.
The band has already begun creating a storm at live venues around London,
due to their diverse repertoire of original material and energetic performances.

Annual Santa Fe film Festival and Official Selection of the 26th
Moscow International Film Festival) which is a film Mark & Jackie
provided soundtrack music for a few years ago.
BAND HISTORY
Supersmiler was originally ''Nelson Romeu'' (a duo music project) created
in 2003 with Mark Nelson on guitar and Jackie Romeu on vocals. Later this
became a full band set up with several changes in the line up.
Mark, who was born with his left arm only, plays the guitar in his own
unique way (plus a few other instruments besides in the studio!) whilst
Jackie (at one time a drummer) takes centre stage with her heartfelt,
gutsy & impassioned vocals.
In 2005, Rafael Piamolini (cheeky, talented & creative pianist from Brazil
(general ‘heartbreaker’!)) joined the group ..boards.
Earlier this year, Andy Pearce (a multi-talented musician and guitarist in
his own right) jumped into the vacant Bass-man’s slippers and became a
fully fledged SuperSmiley!
Then just this Summer, Jamie Burgess (a young nipper from Staines) leapt
onto the drum-kit, proceeded to smash it to pieces so impressively he just
had to take the drummers mantle for the band.
So here we are, a band of many faces.
