SATELLITE DISTRICT from Atlanta GA, USA. Introducing a fresh sound to the musical panorama, with their indie/pop/rock sound, influenced by groups like U2, Coldplay and The Killers.
SATELLITE DISTRICT managed their own concerts in which self produced demos
(Vodka sessions 2005), (Tell me 2006) and (Rivers of red lights 2007) circulated in the
underground scene.
In 2007 SATELLITE DISTRICT embarked on a new musical odyssey and started the
preproduction of their first official release called “NEW WORLD”. In which they worked
with well known rock producer from Atlanta, John Briglevich, who has produced and
worked with artists such as (Goo Goo Dolls, Sevendust, Shawn Mullins, Red Letter
Agent, Hot Lava Monster and Uncrowned).
The recording and mixing took place at Sonica Recording Studios in Atlanta GA. In
the summer of 2008 SATELLITE DISTRICT made the official release of their debut EP
“NEW WORLD”. Having a good response from local and international followers, as
well as in different blogs and musical communities from the United States, Mexico,
Latin America.
