What Is Graphology?
Graphology is the study of determining one\'s personality and behaviour by analyzing handwriting shapes and patterns. Its earliest beginnings lie some 300 years prior to the Christian era in the observations of Aristotle, who stated that \"written words are the symbols of spoken words\" and \"all men have not the same writing.\" Handwriting is just as an instinctive individual expression as the way a person talks, walks or uses his or her hands.
Edgar Allen Poe, Disraeli, Johann von Goethe, Robert Browning, Sir Walter Scott, Thomas Gainsborough and Madam de Sta?l are just a few of the many intellectuals who are reported students of graphology. Over the centuries, sages, poets, philosophers and the like have devoted their lives to revealing handwriting\'s mysteries. But it wouldn\'t be until the late 1800s that graphology would become the modern study it is today.
Why Is Graphology So Effective?
Because graphology doesn\'t rely on superficial information such as gender, race or culture. And that\'s exactly what makes it such an objective and reliable tool! Used to determine personality traits like judgment, emotional stability and honesty, it isn\'t surprising that graphology is used in the criminal profiling, teambuilding, law enforcement, and employment industries.
