The music in Night Dancer was gathered and arranged during the fall & winter of ''97-98, a creative and reflective time for both of us. We selected pieces that would represent the diverse aspects of the seasons, many of which are dances. Just as fall urges us to step out and gather in the bounty of the harvest in preparation for what is to come, winter calls the spirit to dance, not only with celebration, but with a contemplative heart that longs for restoration. In many ways this dance is as intense, if not greater than that of spring and summer, when the outward signs of new life and growth are once again realized.
Winter In Me is heard sung by Holly Brook in the animation Christmas special, "Little Spirit", with soundtrack written and collected by Duncan Sheik.
