New Canadian band Valdrive has just released their three song EP called "Death of Logic". Tracks feature writer/vocalist/guitarist Andrew Bray, drummer Craig Lapsley, bassist Ashton Price, backing vocalist Laura Norris and end of song screamer (got to have one of those) Andrew Munro. The EP was recorded and mixed in record time prior to SXSW 2009.
The title for the "Death of logic" EP was derived from the line "You''re in my head, where logic died" of 2in2u, the first song. Those who heard the EP first were in Austin for SXSW and the response was great. Some comparisons are The Pixies, Stone Temple Pilots, early XTC, early Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and My Bloody Valentine.
