Tracy''s original compositions are creative and engaging, and will soon have you singing along. "When All is Said and Done" ranges from folk to jazz, from light rock to ballads to more traditional Sephardic fare.
Tracy began her own musical and spiritual journey at summer camp in the 1970s. It was there she experienced alternative forms of worship, and discovered the power of expressing prayer through music. She has written a variety of music over the years, including composing the score for "Love in the Catskills," a Jewish musical comedy produced in Skokie, IL, in 1999.
Tracy will be donating a portion of the proceeds from this CD to ONE FAMILY FUND, an organization that provides financial, legal and emotional assistance to victims of terrorism in Israel. "Tehilla," one of the tracks on this CD, was written in memory of one such victim.
Tracy frequently shares her music with her own congregation, B''nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim, in Glenview, IL. She is also the founder and coordinator of the Midwest Jewish Singer/Songwriter Association, which meets every other month to share and collaborate on original Jewish music.
