On the 27th April, Pale Man Made release their free double download single, ‘In Your Bed’ and ‘Cabales’, following from the release of their debut album ‘Oh, My Treasured Things’, voted album of the week on Huw Stephens’s Radio One show.
The new tracks ‘Cabales’ and ‘In Your Bed’ will be available for download, free from the bands myspace: https://www.tradebit.com already ‘In Your Bed’ has received airplay from BBC Radio 6.
The brand new singles are both about fighting. Pale Man Made explain:
“Cabales is the epic tale of the Eskrima Grandmasters, the stick fighting martial arts heroes of the Philippines, who bravely joined the fight against the Japanese invasion during the 2nd World War at the battle of Bataan. It''s named after Angel Cabales, the greatest stick fighter
of all time and a teacher to Bruce Lee.”
"In your bed is about the mentally depressive state which can occur when people are uncertain about being with their partner - feelings which can be eroded by constantly spending time together - the fear of being trapped and the fear of being alone, which can result in anger and fighting, regardless of how compatible the two parties are..."
Their debut album featuring tales of wild boars, snooker players, giant squids and broken hearts, caught the attention of both the major music press and radio stations, when it was released last February on their own label, Pinch, in association with Distraction Records.
