Reviews for Inspirational Journey by Sue Aston
"I love this album. I live and work in Cornwall and this music captures the magic and drama of the County in all its moods. Anyone who likes instrumental and/or Celtic music will appreciate this music. Fine playing and mixing make for a very astmospheric, enjoyable and inspirational collection. I have bought the album for several of my friends and they like it very much. I now have Sue''s other CD and DVD as well, each is well crafted and fantastic to listen to and watch, you can''t go wrong here - just buy them and enjoy". R Pearn
"This CD is as it says in it''s title. It is very inspirational music and very relaxing. Highly recommend it. Lose yourself in the lovely Celtic sounds that Sue produces from both the violin and the piano". S Nunnoo
"Wonderful album from a truely wonderful nice person. This album is just fantastic, Modern, Classical, Celtic, Easy listen you name it its on here. My 13 year old son loves it as does my 74 year old mother so its music for all. Enya eat your heart out you''ve met your match here. "Home coming" & "Afternoon tea" are works of art and are pure heaven to the ears. Can''t wait for more from Sue Aston, I''m a big fan of hers now". D McBain
"Sue Aston has taken the Celtic genre of traditional (in arrangements and of the instruments) and transposed it into a new realm altogether. Anyone who appreciates melody and harmony will find ''Inspirational Journey'' a CD to enjoy and cherish.
I am playing this recording to round off my evenings frequently. This is Celtic music for the classically appreciative yet also a viable contender for a top ranking among those ''chilled'' recordings. However, don''t expect a CD of mellow tracks (although there are many). Some tracks will make you jig and sway. In all ''Inspirational Journey'' has opened my eyes to a sound I never thought I would enjoy so much. Soul touching and uplifting". N Pengelly
"Recording my music takes me on a journey that goes far beyond my passion for the Celtic Landscape that inspires it. As a composer I absorb a great deal of inspiration from the natural landscape, particularly the isolated areas of Cornwall which are rich in legend and folklore".
