I started writing poetry at the age of nine. As I grew older, my poetry style changed significantly. Each time I recited poetry, I was told that my poetry had musical overtones in it. After many years of hearing about how musical my poetry sounded, I decided to go to the studio and create a CD along with my own spoken words and background music all played by Dr. Robert Banks, my arranger. The three songs on this CD (music) was written by me. I produced the CD in hours after asking GOD....."What do you want me to tell your people." At the age of 60 now, I feel that I have completed the job that I needed to do to get my spoken word out there for others to hear and enjoy. If you are tense and need a lift, if you have problems and need to hear a kind word, if you need inspiring.....listen to me as I motivate your spirit and enlighten your mood. I have performed at WNJR 1430 AM for nine years in Newark, The Newark museum, libraries and churches all over New Jersey, NEW12NJ channel 62 in Edison-New Jersey, Channel 26 in Newark-New Jersey, Channel 34 in East Orange- New Jersey, at businesses and many other venues. I was inspired by GOD to write this CD....I know that it will be appreciated by all who hear it.....
