Rick James Country pop singer songwriter comes to you via New York, California and Alaska. Rick and his wife Pam are currently residing in Arizona so they could be near their son Ian who is also a talented singer songwriter. Rick has written many songs including all but one on his current album “Stories. “ Rick teamed up with his long time friend James George Serrett for "Sweet Sarah" and "The First Lady of Shadow Hill". He added new lyrics to John Hartford’s classic "Gentle On My Mind", so it is now "Still Gentle on My Mind", and added J G Serrett’s "Thank You From The Bottom of My Broken Heart" into the mix as well. Rick’s song "Most Of All" is a warming ballad accompanied by acoustic guitar and strings and was written for his wife of 37 years. Rick’s love for songs that tell a story is evident as you listen to the lyrics of “Stories”.
