Elroy Hall, Jr.

Elroy Hall Jr. is songwriter for Rides and Styles. Elroy was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1958. When he was nine years of age, his mom and grandmother purchased his first guitar. This was the beginning of his multi-faceted musical career. Elroy began writing songs in 1973. In 1983, he submitted a song to a local radio station which was chosen from hundreds of entries to be aired.
Elroy wrote and produced Put Your Brake Light On in 1985, which succeeded in being played on the air, to the delight of his family and friends. It was evident that songwriting was something Elroy had been blessed to do.
Elroy is currently writing songs on a variety of subjects, including current events, love and hope. This music gives Rides and Styles “new school” flavor—fusing many forms of music together at a level that appeals to all music lovers.
Elroy gives thanks to God and His Son, Jesus. He also extends eternal gratitude to his mom, Lillie Biggins, for producing his first song and for her continuous support. Next, he is thankful to Michael Shodowen for helping him write and restart his musical journey. Last, but certainly, not least, he offers his heartfelt appreciation to his wife, La Tretta Hall, for her support in all of his business endeavors.

Sheila D. Herron

Sheila D. Herron was born in Fort Worth Texas and is the youngest child of Reverend and Mrs. Willie J. Harris Sr. Sheila is the proud mother of three beautiful children: Victoria Haynes, Joseph Haynes, and Jayla Haynes. She completed her educational endeavors in Texas. Sheila graduated from Polytechnic High School and attended college at Tarrant County College and American Technological University in Killeen Texas.
Sheila’s parents realized she was anointed and gifted at the tender age of 3, when she sung her first solo “What Cha Gonna Do When The World’s On Firer”. Sheila’s gift of singing earned her an appearance on Showtime at the Apollo, in 1992 and an appearance on Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Show in 1993. This anointed vocalist has shared the stage with some of the most renowned artist of our time. Some of those are Cassandra Cleveland-Roberson, Kirk Franklin, Bobby Jones, Yolanda Adams, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard Michael Bolton and Ann Nesby. Sheila has also toured with Ben Tankard and the Tribe of Benjamin.
Perhaps one of Sheila’s most noteworthy achievements as a singer is being a member of the Gospel group “Blair”. She has been singing with Darrell and LaTonya Blair and the group Blair for 17 years. Sheila loves and enjoys singing; Sheila really believes that “music can heal the soul”. She has a passion for all types of music and her desire is to share her gift of music thru song to the upper most parts of the world.
Micheal Pointer

Born in Fort Worth, Texas under the sign of the Taurus Bull, Micheal begun in musical Journey at the age of nine. It was at this leader age that he began to study piano and Organ, and became interested in singing so much so that he joined the church choir.
Later at age ten, Micheal auditioned and became a member of the world renowned Texas Boys Choir, where he received extensive vocal training in classical, opera, and folk music. Starting at the age thirteen, Micheal began to sing with several local bands and groups. As a result, Micheal was able to develop more than one genre of music. He became prolife in R&B, Jazz, Rock, Country and Gospel.
Of course, Micheal’s thirst for music did not stop there, a year or so after singing with Other artists, Micheal began to write his own material, which led him into recording Facilities and the development of his solo act. Micheal has now written over 200 songs to date-and is ready to make his mark in the entertainment industry.
When asked who contributed to his style of singing, he smiled and said, “As a young Man I listened to “masters” such as Stevie Wonder, Micheal Jackson, Prince, Luther Vandross and Al Jarreau. So I guess you can hear a little of all of these men when you Listen to me” Micheal also love to dance, and he attributes his style to James Brown, Micheal Jackson, and Prince.
So, remember the name “Micheal Pointer” You will hear again and again and again.
