In the late 90s, four friends, Reynor, Isaac, Etian and Michel, from Alamar, East Havana, Cuba came together to form Explosión Suprema and went on to become of the most widely recognized Cuban hiphop groups of all time. Aside from the three albums they have released independently in Cuba, of which La Injusticia Tiembla is the most recent, their songs have appeared on numerous international compilation albums, such as Punos Arriba Cuba, Flow Latino, Cuban Hip Hop All-stars, etc. Though the individual members now reside in Spain, the United States and Cuba, they still come together to make music and evolve the sound of Explosión Suprema.
On this album Explosion Suprema combines jazz and techno influences to their unique Cuban sound, and socially conscious edgy lyrics. La Injustica Tiembla won Cuba’s independent Cuerda Viva Award for best urban album in 2007.
