Grupo Nuevo explores new pathways on Argentinean chacarera and tango, and Finnish popular music. The repertoire contains classics by the Finnish tango legend Toivo Kärki, and original songs by Fernando Huergo and Mika Pohjola. Grupo Nuevo also features improvisatory elements to ensure fresh expression in the moment. This recording was made live on a tour of Sweden and Finland in October 2006.
