I didn''t know what the hell to write in this section. I guess I could write a phony review and use words such as sensual...haunting...and...oh yea, magical...and hey-I could call myself Heather, but then I''d be too busy hurling which would completely destroy my magical, sensual, haunting voice and I''d never be able to lean into my beloved microphone again.
By the way, words that are highly overused (unless Koko the gorilla says them in sign language and then it''s cute) and shouldn''t be uttered for the next several hundred years:
The above mentioned haunting, magical and sensual; World premier and epic when referring to a mini series on the sci fi channel starring Tiffany the astrophysicist, Muffy the marine biologist and of course Chad the ex marine pilot who is now a drunk scraping out a living flying tourists on his stearman over the Sonora desert and somehow figures out how to fly a UFO even though he doesn''t speak alien but let''s face it, flying a space ship is just like flying a crop duster; The words goddess, sisterhood, inner child and angel when they have something to do with Oprah and or people dressed in white robes sitting in a sweat lodge in Malibu at $4000 a pop.
But I digress.
Some songs are about love or the lack of it, loneliness, anger (sometimes serious and sometimes I try to make you laugh as I complain).
The song Girl Wake Up is about my frustration with women and their infuriating apathy as the world continues to degrade them. There is a lot going on in this song and I recommend that you focus on a different voice each time you listen to it.
I Got GBand is a humorous look at the music world and what one has to put up with while trying to write music and get it heard. It''s silly and was awfully fun making.
I''ve made all the songs that are more than two minutes long available to be listened to. I really don''t like describing styles too much because it makes me feel boxed in.
I hope you will enjoy them. They are a labor of love.
