"Pradichaya Poonyarit played the ghost of Miss Jessell, the children''s former governess. She has a confident stage presence and formidable projection which were both put to memorable use."
Review by Dennis Kiddy of Britten''s "The Turn of the Screw" - December 1, 2003
"Pradichaya Poonyarit, in the role of Donna Elvira, was the absolute star of the evening."
" ''Non ti fidar'' was sung with particulas poignancy, ..... and perfectly understood and communicated by Pradichaya."
"...her magic was going beyond the madness of the role by summoning tones of exquisite beauty to convey Elvira''s distress."
From article "Magical Night" by Jonathan Richmond, The Nation, Bangkok, Thailand - November 28, 2004
"...the Bangkok-based American baritone Ralph Schatzki[''s] Scarpia was full of sly menace and self-sustaining authority."
(Marc Rochester - Andante, Classical Music Magazine, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

"As Don Giovanni, Ralph Schatzki cut a dashing figure.....
He has been the key player in almost all of Bangkok Opera''s productions..... He was in excellent voice."
(Flo S. Tan - Bangkok Post, Bangkok, Thailand - November 20, 2004)
"Magical Night.... Ralph Schatzki was a great Don Giovanni.....Schatzki''s voice was crisp and clear, the words projected with the easiest arrogance you ever heard"
(Jonathan Richmond - The Nation, Bangkok,Thailand - November 28, 2004)
"Ralph Schatzki was Amonasro... [His] singing was clear, biting, engaged and alarmingly penetrating. Schatzki’s presence was a powerful one as he gave Aida a vocal flogging to make her not a woman freed from Egyptian slavery, but serf enslaved to her father’s will. Fantastic! Bravo!"
(Jonathan Richmond - The Nation, Bangkok,Thailand - May 10. 2005)
" We are just a married couple with a great passion in music. I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand by my Thai parents to whom I''m forever grateful for laying out the fundamental values of how I should approach life and make the best out of it. I then spent years growing up in the United States where I was fortunate to look deeper into my soul and explore my passion. Later, my husband Ralph - a baritone and a lawyer - our baby, and I moved to Thailand. While there, I worked full-time running a sales/marketing company, and Ralph taught high school math at an international school in Bangkok. But, because we couldn''t suppress our love for music, we created P&R Studio/Productions. We performed both on our own and with other groups, including Bangkok Opera, Lyric Opera of Singapore and the Lyric Opera Malaysia. We produced our own productions and also taught as adjunct voice teachers at prestigious universities, as well as offered workshops and operatic classes, both as guests and under our studio''s name. In 2005, we relocated to the US with our children, and here we perform, learn to better our skills and teach in the hopes of inspiring younger artists. Because of our strong desire to sing, Ralph and I cannot put aside our first love. One can truly say that we are married to the arts as well as to each other! As active singers, we make it our quest to build, generate and represent the love of music in younger generations and all the people in the community".......Pradichaya Gafaae Poonyarit & Ralph Schatzki
