Judy''s poems about the homeless were published monthly for over a year in Berkeley''s ''Street Spirit'' newspaper.
''BONES OF THE HOMELESS'' her first spoken word cd was born when songwriter David Thornburgh contacted Judy after seeing the photographs she took of the homeless at: https://www.tradebit.com.
David wrote the music and sings ''NO NAME HO'', track #2, which is based on a true story. The lyrics are by both Judy Jones and David Thornburgh.
Julia Vinograd, Berkeley''s famous street poet, shares her poem, ''CRACKDOWN'', on track #5, taken from her cd ''Bubbles and Bones''. Julia also read her poetry at Judy Jones and Guy Colwell''s artshow at the Cafe Med in Berkeley.
After volunteering with Mother Teresa''s Missionaries of Charities around the world, and seeing firsthand the growing number of people dying on streets all over the earth, Judy is dedicating the ''BONES OF THE HOMELESS'' Cd, her photographs and writings to opening hearts, arms and minds to the plight of the homeless.
