Details:
At the tender age of eleven (some 40 years ago), like so many baby-boomers, George discovered The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show (CBS), and he has not been in his right mind ever since. He quickly sold alot of newspapers and bought his first acoustic guitar for a dollar (buck). With every new chord, came a new song. Ok, some of them were not very good. Over the years, George has been singing and playing instruments for anyone who would listen (including some who were actually willing to pay). As a matter of fact, he has wandered all over the Southwest playing in various and assorted bands. He is mostly known in Austin, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada. He currently resides in Vegas. One day while sitting around the house, he decided to go to the studio in Austin and record 12 of his songs that are based on life experiences and real people. He played all the instruments and performed all of the vocals. He called the cd "Labor Hall" and swears up and down that all the heartache included in this album is very real and so are the people he is singing about. It is a given that you will like this album if you like love songs, rock/country/folk (all without the twang) and guitars. You decide!
Footnote: It should be noted that the lyrics to "Labor Hall" (the song, not the album) were contributed by the beautiful Ms Tara Bull (and that''s another heartbreaking story in itself).
