Oklahoma Child Star Carrigan Bradley Releases Debut CD, ‘Walk Of Faith’
Fort Gibson Native to Perform in Branson for 2009 Season
NASHVILLE, TN (February 12, 2009) – Oklahoma singer and child prodigy, Carrigan Bradley, has released her debut CD, Walk Of Faith. The CD will be available at CD Baby, Napster, https://www.tradebit.com, iTunes, Audio Lunchbox, Rhapsody and other digital outlets.
The 10-song CD was produced by Jeffrey Parker at Cimarron Sound Lab, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and includes covers of popular songs by Dolly Parton (“9 to 5”) LeAnn Rimes (“Blue”) Lee Greenwood (“God Bless the U.S.A.”) and Patsy Cline (“Walkin’ After Midnight”) among others. Also included are several original gospel songs and the all-time fan favorite, “I’ll Fly Away.”
Bradley, a native of Fort Gibson, aspires to follow in the footsteps of other famous female superstars who hail from the “Sooner” state, including Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire. Based upon her track record to date – it seems that she is well on course to reach that goal.
Singing in public since age 4, Bradley has built an impressive resume which includes a recent National Anthem performance for the International Finals Rodeo; performances at the Rodeo Opry in Oklahoma City; “Branson Fest,” and numerous other local and regional venues.
In July 2008, Bradley competed in Branson, Missouri, at the “American Kids National Finals” where she won her age division in the Country category. This performance, coupled with other high-profile appearances in the Branson area, brought about the invitation for her to be a featured member of the cast of the Clay Cooper Theater, where she will perform for the 2009 season, which runs from March through December.
Bradley is growing up in a family who supports her musical aspirations while holding down their own busy work schedules. Mother, Mitzi, works as a speech pathologist in the Oklahoma public school system, while father, Mike, is employed as a machine operator. Mike began following the rodeo circuit at the age of 16, and was a bull fighter, calf roper, steer wrestler, and team roper through his twenty-four years of competing. He has been a member of Professional Cowboy Rodeo Association, International Professional Rodeo Association, and the American Cowboy Rodeo Association.
Bradley is excited about the new project and states, “Making the CD was hard work, but fun. My favorite song is ‘9 to 5’ because I get to be sassy and show my spunk!” When asked what she hoped fans would get when they listen to her CD, she responded, “I hope they see that God is with me. I think if I keep humble, He will take me far in my life.”
