MP3 Swift Robinson - We Write the Pages
If Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger cloned himself, learned to sing soaring harmonies like Dispatch, and paired up with Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave bassist Tim Commerford and a 50-cal machine gun drumbeat, it''d be close to Swift Robinson.

Details:
Three years ago, Swift Robinson formed amidst the revelry and asbestos of Johnstone dormitory at Clemson University—shaking the thin metal walls and concrete floors, awaiting the order to cease and desist that, for one reason or another, never came. Luckily for Swift, they no longer have to haul drumset, amp, and PA down one hundred yards of hallway and four stories of stairwell for every gig.
Since then, it’s been a steady climb on the music scene. Swift Robinson has a fair command of Clemson’s downtown nightlife, and continues to branch out around the southeast, drawing crowds at house parties in Blacksburg, VA, The Handlebar in Greenville, SC, The Music Farm in Charleston, SC, etcetera.
Vocal harmonies from Casey Bennett and Eddie Williams cue up the cohesive dual-melodies of Dispatch, while the get-out-yo-seat-and-rock groove is laid down with Ben Robinson’s oh-so-dirty bass licks and Sonny Hopkins’ 50-caliber machine gun beats. Rock with a social conscience, Swift Robinson’s tight punchy rhythms are paired with politically and emotionally charged lyricism that’s a refreshing bent for up-and-coming indie alternative.
